Emusicians

Jenny Wallace

Picture
For Jenny the joy of her life is music. Jenny has been learning or involved in music her whole life since she was five, learning to play instruments such as piano, recorder and flute at a beginner level. It wasn't until she was much older, back in 2004 to be exact, that she met Del Polden who encouraged her to join the Adult Learners' Group with the Burnie Concert Band and try her hand with the Alto Saxophone. Ironically, it was at the Burnie Concert Band where Jenny's love for guitar work, particularly Bass Guitar, flourished. Jenny continues to play Bass Guitar for the Burnie Concert Band - Adult Learners, as well as being involved in many other small groups and bands throughout the community.

Out of her passion for playing guitar, David Turner invited Jenny to join the EMUsicians Team in 2010. Jenny loves working with the EMU's team and hopes that her love for music, in particular guitar, will be contagious and spread through all she comes in contact with.
